It's the main reason I do not participate in the Movado, I simply learn and use the language. I doubt the Esperanto Movement was ever truly "neutral" since the concept of a global government is a very political idea and goes hand in glove with communism. I think the communist Esperantists wanted an organization they could control, and so founded a new organization which sapped members away from the original organization, the EANA. I think your statement above that "if it weren't for George Connor" is a false statement. If it weren't for the communists wanting to control everything, the EANA would still exist. I think I may write about this in the future so a more balanced view can be obtained by others. Currently, all the information on the web about the subject is extremely biased against Connor, and I don't think that is right.
